The meaning and concept of philosophy in Islam

In the light of the Qur\\\'an and Hadith in both of which the term hikmah has been used,1 Muslim authorities belonging to different schools of thought have sought over the ages to define the meaning of hikmah as well as falsafah, a term which entered Arabic through the Greek translations of the second/eighth and third/ninth centuries. On the one hand what is called philosophy in English must be sought in the context of Islamic civilization not only in the various schools of Islamic philosophy but also in schools bearing other names, especially kalam, ma`rifah, usul al-fiqh as well as the awa\\\'il sciences, not to speak of such subjects as grammar and history which developed particular branches of philosophy. On the other hand each school of thought sought to define what is meant by hikmah or falsafah according to its own perspective and this question has remained an important concern of various schools of Islamic thought especially as far as the schools of Islamic philosophy are concerned.

During Islamic history, the terms used for Islamic philosophy as well as the debates between the philosophers, the theologians and sometimes the Sufis as to the meaning of these terms varied to some extent from one period to another but not completely. Hikmah and falsafah continued to be used while such terms as al-hikmat al-ilahiyyah and alhikmat al-muta`aliyah gained new meaning and usage in later centuries of Islamic history, especially in the school of Mulla Sadra. The term over which there was the greatest debate was hikmah, which was claimed by the Sufis and mutakallimun as well as the philosophers, all appealing to such Hadith as "The acquisition of hikmah is incumbent upon you and the good resides in hikmah."2 Some Sufis such as Tirmidhi were called hakim and Ibn Arabi refers to the wisdom which has been unveiled through each manifestation of the logos as hikmah as seen in the very title of his masterpiece Fusus al-hikam,3 while many mutakallimun such as Fakhr al-Din al-Razi claimed that kalam and not falsafah was hikmah,4 Ibn Khaldun confirming this view in calling the later kalam (kalam al-muta\\\'akhkhirin) philosophy or hikmah

دایرة المعارف اسلامی اینترنتی به زبان آلمانی راه اندازی شد

اولین دایرة المعارف تخصصی اسلامی اینترنتی به زبان آلمانی با همکاری دکتر یاووس اوزگوس و رایزنی فرهنگی ایران در آلمان راه اندازی شد.

 

به‌گزارش روابط عمومی سازمان فرهنگ وارتباطات اسلامی ، رایزنی فرهنگی ایران در آلمان، تدوین مجموعه‌ فرهنگی «دایره المعارف اسلامی» به زبان تخصصی آلمانی پس از تلاش مستمر چند ساله‌ی آقای دکتر "یاووس اوزگوس" و همیاری رایزنی فرهنگی به ثمر نشست و نخستین بخش آن تحت آدرس الکترونیکی  http://eslam.de/  و با عنوان «دایره المعارف اسلامی»  انتشار یافته است.

 

این فرهنگ اسلامی اولین دایره المعارف تخصصی الکترونیکی مشتمل بر واژگان اسلام شناسی است که شرح مبسوط واژگان آن بر اساس جهان بینی مذهب شیعی و با استناد به کتب اربعه و بهره گیری از سیره ائمه اطهار (س)  از میان هزاران واژة مذهبی مندرج در متون تخصصی این رشته‌ برگزیده، طراحی و منتشر گردیده است.

 

اقدام به تکمیل و انتشار این "دایره المعارف اسلامی" به زبان آلمانی از آن جهت حائز اهمیت است که بسیاری از متفکران بزرگ دوران جدید از این حوزه‌ فرهنگی، یعنی سرزمین آلمان برخاسته و دنیای تفکر را تحت تأثیر قرار داده‌اند. همچنین تکمیل و انتشار این دایره المعارف پاسخی است به نیاز اساتید، دانشجویان و دانش‌پژوهانی که مطالعة متون اصلی را وجهة همت خود قرار داده‌اند و یا مترجمانی که دیگر به ترجمه از ترجمه اکتفا نمی‌کنند و حق قرائت و تفسیر سخن اصلی را به شخص ثالث نمی‌سپارند. ع م/ آلمان/

قشار مختلف ایرانیان مقیم پکن روز شنبه 21/11/85سالگرد پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی ایران را در محل سفارت جمهوری اسلامی ایران در پکن جشن گرفتند.

به گزارش روابط عمومی سازمان فرهنگ وارتباطات اسلامی ،آقای جواد منصوری سفیر ایران در چین در این مراسم که با حضور اعضای سفارت و سایر نهادهای فعال جمهوری اسلامی و تجار و دانشجویان و خانواده هایشان برگزار گردید سخنرانی کرد.

زواياى پيدا و پنهان شبيه سازى در گفت وگو با انديشوران حوزه

در عصرى زيست مى كنيم كه انسان, به مدد دانش روزافزون خود, هر روز افق هاى تازه اى را به روى خود مى گشايد و به بركت نيروى ابداع گرانه اى كه خداوند در نهاد او به وديعت نهاده است, به قله ها و عرصه هاى جديد و شگفت دست مى يازد و پاى مى نهد. گاه دستاوردهاى او چنان تحول ساز است و ديگر عرصه ها و دستاوردهاى مادى و معنوى اش را دگرگون مى سازد كه خود انسان از خير و شر, و فساد و صلاح كارش در حيرت و ترديد فرو مى رود.
شبيه سازى يكى از اين گونه دستاوردهاست كه مى تواند در آينده اى نه چندان دور, بر همه ابعاد زندگى او و ديگر جانداران تأثير گذارد. اين دانش نوپديد و خيره كننده, پرسش هاى فراوانى را فرا روى انديشمندان حوزه هاى گوناگون پديد آورده كه بايد بدان ها پاسخى درخور دهند و انديشه وران حوزه فقاهت از اين امر مستثنا نيستند. شبيه سازى موضوعى دامن گستر است و از اين رو, بايسته و شايسته است كه فقيهان, پژوهشگران و انديشه ورزان حوزه هاى دينى نيز از زواياى مختلف به تحليل و بررسى آن بپردازند. آنچه در پى مى آيد, حاصل ميزگردى است با حضور حجج اسلام آقايان شيخ محمد سند, محمدجواد فاضل لنكرانى, احمد مبلغى, محمدحسن نجفى و سيد حسن اسلامى كه درباره ابعاد و زواياى پيدا و پنهان شبيه سازى به بحث و گفت وگو پرداخته اند. اميد آن كه اين گام نخست, زمينه گام هاى بلندترى را در اين عرصه فراخ فراهم آورد.
